Me and Lisa had a great time going to the midnight
screening of G.I. Joe - The Rise of Cobra. I had planned a month before
the movie to make costumes for us to attend in. I, of course, went as
Snake Eyes. Lisa chose the Baroness. I did mine mostly based on the
movie, with some comic series references (the visor, Uzi & lack of the red
symbol on the shoulder). Lisa's Baroness was strictly classic
cartoon/toy/mostly comic version. For the inside scoop on the construction
of our costumes, I will be placing a link here to the page. We cannot
thank the help we had though from Carol Douglas enough. She did an awesome
job sewing Lisa's suit and placing the perfect Cobra logo on. You can
reach her at

During the two screenings we attended, everyone that saw us were all smiles and
too many compliments to count. Several people also posed and took pictures
with us. We both thought the funniest thing of all was at 2nd showing.
We were buying our tickets and the Lynnwood Police showed up and asked to see
our weapons. We told him how they were really air soft guns and then he
said, "Ok thanks...and awesome costumes!"
Here are a few of our pictures before and at the movie. In the next day or
two, we are going to dress in them again and do some action poses.
Oh yeah, and thanks Whitney for helping pack Lisa's coat and assault rifle!!
